The Nevada Center for Public Policy Dialogue
The League of Women Voters of Pahrump Valley and the Nevada Center for Public Policy Dialogue partnered to present a PowerPoint presentation to the Poverty Resource Forum last week and yesterday to the Senior Resource Forum.
Dina Erdag of the League of Women Voters kindly shared the presentation with this blog and I want to share it with you.
As a side note, let me explain that my sharing of this PowerPoint presentation via this blog is something a a new experiment by me. I’ve never tried it before but I think this will work and enhance the ability of this blog to bring you more items of interest than ever before. At least I hope so.
To see the presentation left click the picture. Doing so should take you to a website called Google Docs and load the presentation for you to view. It will take a few moments to load (similar to viewing videos) and open on the first slide. There are 13 slides total. When it is fully loaded and you are finished looking at the first slide, left click the slide to take you to slide #2, and so on until you’ve seen all 13 slides. Alternatively you should see two arrows in the lower left corner of your screen which you can click to move forward or backward from one slide to another.
Those of you who access the internet via a dial-up connection will experience a slower loading of the presentation than those that have a broadband connection.
I hope you enjoy this new enhancement. If you have any problems I’d appreciate a comment to this blog post explaining the problem you encountered. I’d also like to have your feedback telling me whether or not my attempt to use this enhancement is a lousy idea or a good idea. I appreciate your feedback greatly.
Thank you all.
