I had the pleasure of meeting Jack Schofield last August. Mr. Schofield is an announced candidate for election to Nevada’s Congressional District #2. You will find his website here. He is a very interesting man well worth your consideration for election. I will try to follow his election campaign to keep up with him and keep you informed. I recommend you visit his website and learn about him, his experience, and his platform. He opens it with:
Our nation is facing tremendous challenges.
Never in our country’s history have we been faced with such corporate greed and government corruption. Nevada continues to face massive unemployment rates. Our families are losing their homes and their life savings while Wall Street receives billion dollar bailouts. Our children are being denied an education as high school dropout rates continue to rise. Too many hard working Nevadans continue to be denied proper health care, while insurance CEO’s in Washington D.C. take home billion dollar bonuses.
Nevadans deserve real solutions to these challenges and that is why I am running for Congress in Nevada’s 2nd district.
Nevada’s 2nd district deserves a leader who will stand up to the special interests that have invaded Washington and who will work to bring unity and civility back to our national discourse. Only by working together can we bring solutions to the problems facing Nevada’s working families.
I am proud to have served my country and the great state of Nevada; as a U.S. Army Air Force Fighter Pilot, and as your neighbor, University Regent, Assemblyman, and State Senator. With your help, I look forward to continuing my service as the next U.S. Congressman from the great state of Nevada.
Please contact me at drjackschofield@gmail.com with your questions and concerns. Join our campaign and together we’ll bring new ideas and leadership to Nevada’s 2nd district.
See you on the trail,
Dr. Jack Schofield
Democrat for U.S. Congress in Nevada’s 2nd district

Jack will make a fine congressman. He is an outstanding person who cares about people. Heller does not speak for me.
I sure liked him Angie. He and I chatted over the phone a couple of times. Very gracious man and would make an excellent replacement of Dean Heller, who doesn’t speak for me either.
Thanks for the comment.
