It isn’t just the Republicans that is resisting health care/insurance reformation. It is the health insurance and pharmaceutical companies as well. They don’t wish to lose their profits. Don’t forget all those “Blue Dog” Democrats either.

Although I am sure you are absolutely right in your comment, Bob, we must find a way to change this kind of thinking. We must be out in mass with out own well written signs to expose the enemy Republicans. Yes, I say enemy. The Republican Party has stopped healthcare for millions of Americans for more than 50 years now. Because they have done this millions of Americans have died. Therefore, the Republicans have slaughtered more Americans than the concentrations camps of Germany and Japan and all the casualties of world war II combined. If this does qualify them to be called enemies, what does. We are not playing a chessgame with the Republican Party, we are in a battle to save lives.

I live in a very conservative area of the country and most do not want the facts explained to them. Most have their minds made up and do not trust anyone but their preacher and their Republican representative, so don’t confuse them with the facts.
