I assume you are referring to the new layout of Ancestry.com rather than this blog. I'm not fully accustomed to the new look of Ancestry. I'm stilling trying to learn all the ins and outs of it.

Thank you for your comment

While I worked in IT for years I think you definitely need to accomodate more reader feedback. I think many people (including myself) feel that the very legitimate criticisms are buried with "learning curve" comments. I want to suggest that you tell us what (if any) of these suggestions are being adapted in future updates. I like many users think the "look and feel" is bloated and not user friendly. I can't imagine having to click on so many tabs to find IF there is a story or comment. Tabs should be color coded to show content, images should be at the top of the page, etc. More work definitely needs to be done before any rollout....

Thanks for the comment Toni. Anything new that presents a learning curve can be difficult. I've used Ancestry for about a decade now. I haven't noticed the problems you cite. But Ancestry has been the best single source of official documents I've been able to find, i.e., Census records. Of course I'm in the United States. I see you must be in New Zealand. So, I can't really relate to what you are encountering. None of my family has, to my knowledge, any roots in New Zealand. Good luck.

New enhancements are the pitts ,proved it by looking for many
things I had found before which I now cannot find atall. Previously named Ancestry as scource but why would I now do this as family members cannot find also.
Ancestry has served me well through the years except for trancription errors but this is the final straw.
