The Trigg Report
Cindy Olivas Trigg, a Democratic candidate seeking the Democratic Party’s nomination to oppose Republican incumbent, Dean Heller, in the 2010 general election now has a blog site.
Titled The Trigg Report – News for Nevadans the blog will be of assistance to all in acquainting readers just who Cindy Trigg is and what she intends to do if elected.
Mrs. Trigg has an opponent in the primary phase of the election process named Paul Reeves, also a Democrat who lives in Pahrump, Nye County, Nevada.
Unless a third Democratic candidate jumps in the race either Mrs. Trigg or Mr. Reeves will run against Dean Heller.
If you don’t already know Mrs. Trigg and Mr. Reeves are scheduled to engage in a debate on August 3, 2009 in Honeysuckle Park, Pahrump from 7-9 p.m. The debate is hosted by the Pahrump Chapter of Democracy for America. If you live in the Pahrump area mark your calendar and plan to attend the event. You’ll get a chance to personally meet each of them.

Even members of Congress Tweet. Times are changing, fast. Using Twitter is one way to reach younger voters. Old people don’t Twitter—young people do. Politicians are being to learn that if they want to tap into the new generation they have to learn how to communicate with them—and cast away their quills and ink in favor of the modern way to keep in touch with their constituents. Twitter is changing the way of politics.
Twitter is also changing the way America does business.

Take your bible and handgun to church Sunday
Sometimes it is difficult to understand people.

The New Bethel Church, Louisville, Kentucky, is welcoming “responsible handgun owners” to wear their firearms inside the church June 27, a Saturday. An ad says there will be a handgun raffle, patriotic music and information on gun safety.
No bible study? No prayer meeting? No sermon? Is this a church or just what is it? Apparently there is no plan to talk about God or Jesus–just guns, patriotism. Praise the Lord! And pass the ammunition!
