Review-Journal Poll: Reid and Heller

Poll

Poll

Imagine that. 22% of voters don’t even recognize Dean Heller! That is more than 1 in 5. And as long as he has been around. Guess some of us live on a different planet. Thinking about it I don’t recognize the names of most of today’s celebrities. Different strokes for different folks I suppose.

But the Review-Journal says the poll was taken last week of 625 Nevadans who “vote regularly.” 61% of Democrats say they will vote to re-elect Reid. 7% of Republicans would vote for him. 30% of independents would, according to the RJ.

Among Republicans, 71 percent would definitely vote against Reid, a sentiment shared by 20 percent of Democrats and 50 percent of independents.

As of yet that 71% of Republicans don’t have anyone to vote for. Bet the vast majority of those Republicans, Democrats and independents that would vote against Reid have no clue why they would vote against Reid.

It is still a ways to go before the 2010 election and the numbers will move all over the place. The main thing that remains constant is the voter. Most don’t have any idea what they are doing.
