The move of the Nye-Gateway to Nevada’s Rurals blog from Blogger to WordPress has been completed. A few tweaks and such cobwebs remain to be made, but will be done on an ongoing basis until completed. I have to learn how to do all these “tweaks” first then do them.
I like this new format a lot. I hope you do too. I do believe it will make your visits here better, more fun, more information, and above all improve the quality of the blog posts I write.
I don’t want to lose any of the readers of this blog and hope to increase the number of readers. If you want to help accomplish that then refer this site to your friends.
I’m thinking that since the primary focus of the blog was orginally intended to be Nye County, Nevada that the ability of WordPress to permit sub-categories can be helpful to those readers who are primarily interested in Nye County politics. They can now click the Nye sub-categore of the main category of Politics and won’t be distracted by extraneous posts.
And WordPress affords the use of tags which can be used to further refine one’s focus onto a single individual or topic. I confess that at the moment I haven’t mastered the total concept of the use and application of tags, but I intend to do so.
I plan to resume writing posts today and continue working on the tweaks in between posting.
Thank you all that have followed me over here. I love you all who have done so. Drop me a comment and tell me how I’m doing or what you think I should be doing.
I intend to leave the Blogger Nye-Gateway blog up for about another month so that those who still access it will know to come here for the new Nye-Gateway blog. Remember to keep the location of this new site in your Favorites or Bookmarks so you can get back here easier.
Oh, I invite you to follow me on Twitter. Updates to this blog are sent out to all who do follow me on Twitter. Twitter even has a link which will bring you here so you can read whatever is posted. As an aside, this Twitter trend is really catching on and spreading like wildfire.
