Last month I presented a “Communications Report” to the Nye County Democratic Central Committee. It consisted of a list of communications tools available for the Central Committee to communicate with the 9000 Democrats in Nye County and conversely how each of those 9000 Democrats could communicate with the Central Committee. Additionally, but not least, those 9000 Democrats can communicate with each other.
Interpersonal communications is the heart and soul of politics.
Today I encounted a brand new method of communication being currently developed by Google. It is called Google Wave. A video demonstration of Google Wave is shown at the other end of the link. If you go and watch it you will note that Wave leaves old fashioned e-mail behind. This new technique permits two or more people to simultaneosly converse, on line, and share with each other such things a photos.
Just imagine those 9000 Democrats attending a meeting with the Central Committee online using Wave!
