District Judge Elissa Cadish ruled that this is a “extreme case where disqualification is warranted.”

Authorities have accused Krolicki of misappropriating approximately $6 million in fees earned by the state college savings program while he served as treasurer. Krolicki and his attorneys have argued that the treasurer’s office was following the law in the way it administered the fee funds.
