Mrs. Quitevis, a Republican, is the former Chairman of the Nye County Democratic Party. Governor Jim Gibbons has appointed her to the position to replace Peter Liakopoulos, who resigned. She is a graduate of Harvard Business School. That should be an asset to the Board of Commissioners. Nye County needs a representative who has some business sense.

Nye County remains under the dominion and control of the Republican regime which has run Nye County for years. Isn’t there a Democrat Harvard Business School graduate somewhere in this county to run and win one of those seats?
