The US Senate approved (73-24) an amendment to the stimulus bill which declared no money from the stimulus bill could be spent on recreation projects including museums (Mayor Goodman’s Mob Museum idea), golf courses, aquariums or zoos, or any casino or gaming establishment.
Senator John Ensign voted for the amendment. Senator Harry Reid voted against the amendment.
